Born in 1975. Is one of the founders of Cimepur – a magazine for contemporary cinema lovers. Collaborates with numerous Czech periodicals (Lidové noviny, aktualne.cz) as well as with radio and TV as an author and cinema observer. As a critic is interested in European and Korean art house cinema. Co-author of the books about Hungarian director Béla Tarr and Finnish director Aki Kaurismäki.
